About Us
Reliability, precision and future-ready fiber optic deployment – as a certified subcontractor to Telekom standards, across Germany.
Behind every successful fiber project stands a well-coordinated team. At DataNetzBau, experienced technicians, site managers and project coordinators work hand in hand with a single goal: the highest quality in fiber optic deployment, from civil works through to OTDR measurements.
Our group unites three companies – DataNetzBau GmbH, M-Technik GmbH and Multikom Sp. z o.o. – jointly delivering fiber rollout projects across Germany: FTTH, FTTB and FTTx connections, backbone splicing, building connections and network installations for Deutsche Telekom, regional carriers and municipalities.
With over 30 active teams, we are on the ground wherever the German fiber rollout is moving forward – and we are expanding into the Netherlands, Belgium and France. We plan, build and document to the highest standards – efficient, safe and Telekom-compliant.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fiber Deployment
Answers to the most common questions about our fiber optic services, standards and field operations.
We cover the entire fiber rollout: civil works and duct laying, fiber blowing for FTTH, FTTB and FTTx, splicing and OTDR measurements, building connections to NE3 and NE4 standards, plus active and passive network installation in POPs and datacenters — all from a single source, to Telekom and DIN standards.
FTTH (Fiber to the Home) brings the fiber directly into the apartment. FTTB (Fiber to the Building) terminates at the building handover point, with internal distribution from there. FTTx is the umbrella term for all fiber rollout architectures. DataNetzBau plans, builds and documents all three variants — including civil works, blowing and building connection.
Our fiber infrastructure is delivered strictly to Deutsche Telekom standards, DIN norms and VDE. Splicing and OTDR measurements follow Tier-1 and Tier-2 protocols. Our technicians are FOA CFOT certified, DVGW GW129 trained and DGUV V3 qualified for electrical work. Every fiber connection is fully documented.
NE3 (Network Level 3) is the distribution level between the main distribution frame and the building handover point. NE4 is the in-building distribution level from the APL to the apartment. DataNetzBau delivers both levels — including fiber building connection, APL installation and clean handover to the network operator.
Yes. DataNetzBau is a certified subcontractor in fiber deployment for Deutsche Telekom, regional carriers and general contractors such as DeNe, NetCologne and EKN. We deliver civil works, micro-cable blowing, splicing, OTDR measurements, building connections and complete backbone routes — to Telekom standard and with full documentation.
With over 30 active teams across Germany and our own logistics, we typically mobilise within days. We also cover short-notice deployments — for example when another subcontractor drops out or a handover deadline is at risk — with ready-to-deploy fiber teams.
DataNetzBau works on fiber deployment across Germany — from Kiel through the Rhineland down to Bavaria. We are also expanding into the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Through our group (DataNetzBau GmbH, M-Technik GmbH, Multikom Sp. z o.o.) we also cover cross-border FTTH and backbone projects.
Every splice is individually measured and protocolled. OTDR measurements are taken single- and bi-directionally (Tier-1 and Tier-2), including attenuation, reflection and length analysis. You receive complete documentation: plans, splice register, OTDR diagrams — all in the format the network operator requires (PDF, XML, EDI).
